God is ruler of all. He is the ultimate Authority. His sovereign hand is still working. I do not fear man who can take away my body. I fear the One Who has the ability to take my body and soul. Two songs, I leave you with.

God is in control, He knew who would be President and He did it for a reason. Maybe it's for Christians to step up even more so and proclaim His name, proclaim what His words say about abortion and same sex marriage and to proclaim the gospel!
You are absolutely correct! God has instituted all leaders (Romans 13) and this is what gives me reason to pray for them and yes, even rejoice that they are there. All is done for the glory of the Lord and the furtherance of His gospel.
