Clearing the air

My first retraction (though my opinions have not changed):
Okay, so the post I made on Halloween definitely got me thinking. It's one thing to have someone ask what you do for this day and it's another to spout out a "mightier than thou" attitude. Though none of my comments said I did this, it is my desire to glorify God with this blog and the more I thought about it, it did seem a bit in-your-face and could have been perceived as a legalistic view. Now, I still have not changed my views on the day, however, if a non-believing, un-regenerate heart were to read my entry, I don't think they would have been drawn closer to the cross. As I considered how they might think of the entry, I decided it best to leave the discussion for a dinner topic, conversation over tea, or a laid back time with friends and not the public forum of the blogosphere.
